On these pages I will put up some of my bead, wire and Native American pieces. I hope you will enjoy them....a little about me, I have been beading for as long as I can remember. My MeeMaw taught me how to bead. She was a talented bead artist. She beaded to make money for the family, at that time it was not popular to be "Indian", Native American. So she really disliked beading. But she did what she had to do. I am so thankful she taught me how to bead. I wonder what she would think now, with all of the wonderful beads that are available now. I think about that often.
I live in the Phoenix Arizona area, in a retirement community. It is beautiful here. I moved here from the Los Angeles California area about 4 years ago. I have a wonderful husband, and a Toy Fox Terrier, "Molly Many Spots Shell Taker". I have two children and two grand children. And I am enjoying my retirement.

Molly Many Spots Shell Taker

This is Molly, she loves to get into the Medicine Wheel and very carefully remove the shell with the cornmeal in it. We really don't know why she likes the shell. She takes it off sets it down and guards it. Does not spill the cornmeal.

This is "Crystal Feathers", square stitched feathers, and sculptural peyote neck strap, and the crystal is attached with peyote stitch. The butterfly is one of my totums. There are 5 small feathers on the back of the crystal, that makes 7 feathers, for the 7 clans of the Cherokee People. The three cones are to bring in spirit.
